متى تستخدم .MOV

يُنشئ MOV بواسطة iPhone وFinal Cut Pro. حوّله إلى MP4 (H.264+AAC) لأقصى توافق عند المشاركة.

التفاصيل التقنية

ملفات MOV تستخدم بنية atom من QuickTime (نفس بنية box في MP4). تخزّن moov atom البيانات الوصفية وفهرس المسارات وmdat atom البيانات الخام. تدعم تنسيقات بكسل ProRes وHEVC.

التاريخ

طورت Apple إطار عمل QuickTime وتنسيق MOV في عام 1991. أصبحت بنية MOV الأساس لمعيار MP4 — يتشارك MP4 وMOV نفس البنية الأساسية (ISOBMFF).
